To Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Peter Starr’s multi Award-Winning iconic motorcycle film “Take it to the Limit”, Starr has painstakingly re-mastered the original movie and added a lot of bonus material. In addition to the original movie, this DVD includes a 30 minute documentary on the making with commentary from the director, including revisits with some of the movie’s key stars Kenny Roberts, Steve Baker, Roger DeCoster, Mike Bast, Bruce Penhall to name a few. unfortunately Barry Sheene and Mike Hailwood had already passed-on long before this DVD version was produced. It also includes the full 5 minute animated segment of Arlo Guthrie’s anthem “The Motorcycle Song’ , a copy of the original theatrical trailer, and a production stills gallery. The DVD is accompanied by a 32 page booklet documenting the movie, the racing stars and the journey taken by the movie during its theatrical distribution.
